The submission closing date allocated by the Department of Human Settlements is 31 January 2024.Attached please find a high-level submission for your consideration and comment by the close of business on 30 of January 2024.We appreciate that the time frame for consideration and comment is limited, however, the late publication of the notice by the Department in December 2023 was ill-timed over the festive season. We appreciate your opportunity to comment is limited and thank you in advance for your participation within the prescribed timeline.We attach a copy of the Human Settlements White Paper for your ease of reference together with the proposed submission for your consideration.Please note that comments on the Human Settlements White Paper have been restricted to issues relevant to the agricultural sector.A more detailed submission will be possible once the draft Bill is published for consideration.
