AgriSA Invitation to apply and join training programmes

AgriSA received a request from the Department of Agriculture, Land Reform, and Rural Development to share an invitation from the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China to participate in the following programmes.

There are only 3 (three) spaces available for each programme, these programmes are only for South African citizens, please familiarize yourselves with the closing dates as no applications will be accepted after the closing dates. The Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China will cover the following for each participant the International airfare (return trip), accommodation and transportation in China, meals, and an allowance during the training.

Each nominated candidate will be responsible for their own medical examination as per the attached Physical Examination form (this includes the blood test, x-rays etc, the visa application and transport within South Africa).

Once the application package is complete as per the requirements below you need to forward it to Ms. Jacky Smit at JackyS@Dalrrd.gov.za.

SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS NEEDED

  • Completed application form (a request from the Embassy is that all the application forms should be typed and not handwritten)
  • Copy of your South African Passport (Other passports will not be accepted)
  • ID Copy
  • Short but detailed CV
  • Physical Examination form (please attach all medical test blood results as this needed by the host)
  • A letter from your employer, signed by at least a director level.(template attached to be used)

Important note: If the supporting documents stated above are not attached to the application form, we will not proceed with your application form, further we will not accept any application forms or supporting documentation after the given closing date.  The completed application package mentioned above should reach Ms Jacky Smit be on or before the given deadlines.
