| The Expropriation Bill was submitted to the President for signature after being approved by both houses of Parliament on 27 March 2024.AgriSA continues to monitor the Expropriation Bill vigilantly and has been proactive in updating the legal opinion and consulted widely to ensure that the value of property and private property rights are protected. AgriSA is committed to opposing the implementation of the Expropriation Bill in its current form and will take the most effective actions based on wide consultation with legal experts and the legal advisory committee. Status update and way forward. |
